Chimney Work

Older chimneys are particularly susceptible to storm damage and require proper maintenance to ensure their safety and functionality. Neglecting these structures can lead to falling masonry, which not only poses significant safety hazards but can also cause damage to your roof and surrounding property. At First Choice Roofing, we recognise the importance of maintaining your chimney and offer a fast and responsive chimney repair service designed to address various issues effectively. Our skilled team specialises in re-pointing the mortar work between the bricks of the chimney stack, ensuring a strong and stable structure. We also secure loose chimney pots to prevent them from becoming dislodged during adverse weather conditions.

In addition to repairs, we provide services such as capping redundant chimneys and fitting chimney cowls. These preventive measures help to keep birds from nesting or becoming trapped in your chimney, reducing the risk of blockages and further damage. We also offer complete removal services for homeowners who wish to eliminate the chimney altogether. If you suspect that your chimney needs attention or if you have any questions, we invite you to reach out for a no-obligation quote today!
